**Trigger Warning**
Like many who are in an abusive relationship, we tend to believe & forgive the perpetrator, over & over, again, even if a short time has gone by without much interaction, until the perpetrator reaches out to you. We then feel guilty though hopeful & want to give the perpetrator another chance but yet, we victims let our guard down to only be met with the eventual repeated cycle. At 12:49am, today; 04.06.22, I, the author of this blog, admit that since May 2020 till March 2022 (on/off again with him; the perpetrator), that I'm a victim of domestic violence/abuse which includes 1 time of physical abuse, multiple times of sexual abusive behavior & psychological abuse. It took me 22 months to realize just how stupid I am. With the exception of revealing a few incidents of what he's done to me, to a only a few people, I've kept it hidden for fear of embarrassment & even being judged. My state of mind is very fragile at this time & am not sure how to cope except to help others & below are 2 VERY important numbers to call if you or someone you know is in an abusive relationship including sexual abuse.
